Kitchen Porter/Cleaner wanted to start ASAP!


We are looking for a FULL TIME  KITCHEN PORTER and CLEANER to start ASAP.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • washing pots, pans plates and cutlery and get them back into use as quickly as possible
  • washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
  • making sure kitchen equipment is properly stored
  • removing and recycling waste from the kitchen
  • washing and disinfecting the whole bathroom including floor and walls.
  • washing the dining area floor
Required skills and experience

  • the ability to carry out tasks quickly
  • reliable and punctual
  • good physical health
  • the ability to work in a team
  • the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • the ability to follow instructions
  • an awareness of hygiene and safety regulations

Rossodisera is recruiting!!


We are looking for an experienced waiter or waitress to join our team!!

EXPERIENCE WAITER/WAITRESS WANTED

Your tasks will include but will be not limited to:

·        Escort customers to their tables and take their orders.
·        Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
·        Inform customers of daily specials and offers
·        Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
·        Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
·        Serve food and/or beverages to patrons; prepare and serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
·        Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
      Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
      Clean bars, work areas, and tables.
      Serve wine, and bottled beer
      Make coffee
      Prepare any day our fresh selection of panini, piadine and any other item from our Deli selection
      Balance cash receipts

Required Skills & Experience
·        Minimum one year of experience
·        Good knowledge of both English and Italian
·        Willing to commit a period of six month minimum
·        Flexible, reliable and very puntual person
·        Demonstrated commitment to restaurant customer service, with some knowledge of food and beverage preferred

Christmas Team Party Menu and new Rossodisera Card


As all our customers know, we at Rossodisera have always been passionate about great artisan food prepared to the very best standards and to promote the typical Le Marche traditional cuisine in London is the core of our business.
We personally source all the products we import from Le Marche and make a big effort in choosing only small artisan producers to offer you the very best delicacies from our region of Italy.
We are now very pleased to offer you a dedicated Christmas Team Menu for your business parties with a choice among three different kinds off menu and any of them includes starter, pasta, a main course and the dessert of course!

The Meat Menu includes our very well known Chitarrine Sibilla and Antipasto Misto, together with Coniglio in Porchetta and Millefoglie.
The Seafood Menu starts with Panzanella & Prawns, followed by Tagliatelle al Sugo di Pesce, then the main Filetto di Spigola and the Millefoglie.
The third option is the Vegetarian Menu starting with Crema di Patate con Uova di Quaglia e Tartufo and the Chitarrine Aglio, Olio, Peperoncino e Cicoria, followed by the main Frecantò and then the dessert.

Rossodisera Special Deal


After the last winter Deal of the Month promotion and its great success we decided this autumn to come back with a new series of promotions but this time there won't be a specific time limit and the duration of any promotion will be decided by the public based on how much popular it will prove to be. So you better check out our blog often!
The wines we selected for you for opening our new season of promotions are the red Collequanto from Colli di Serrapetrona and the white IoSonoGaia from Cantina Le Caniette, both from the southern of Le Marche region

A seguito del grande successo della nostra promozione Deal of the Month dello scorso inverno, quest'anno abbiamo deciso di replicare da questo autunno ma quest'anno sara il nostro pubblico a determinare la durata di una promozione in base al suo successo quidni tenete d'occhio spesso il blog!
I vini che abbiamo scelto per voi per inaugurare la nostra nuova stagione di promozioni sono il rosso Collequanto dall'azineda Colli di Serrapetrona ed il bianco IoSonoGaia dalla Cantina Le Caniette, entrambi dal sud della regione Marche.




The Red Collequanto is made of 100% Vernaccia Nera grape, a local variety  from Le Marche region that grows only in a small area around the Serrapetrona village between 450 and 500 meters above the sea level, in the Macerata province and that cannot be found in any other part of the world.
The Collequanto is the result of 15 months of ageing, 6 in steel, 3 in oak and then 6 in bottle. The wine has an intense ruby red colour with hints of cherry, strawberry and blueberry. As a result, it has a very fruity and spicy flavour and goes very well with grilled meat and steak but also medium and hard cheeses and cured meat.

Il rosso Collequanto e ottenuto da 100% Vernaccia Nera, una varietá autoctona della regione Marche che si trova solo in una ristretta area attorno al comune di Serrapetrona tra i 450 e i 500 metri di altitudine sopra il livello del mare, nella provincia di Macerata e che non si trova in nessun altro luogo al mondo. Il Collequanto é il risultato di 15 mesi di invecchiamento, 6 in cisterne, 3 in botti di rovere ed infine 6 in bottiglia. Il vino ha un intenso colore rosso rubino con sentori di cigliegia, fragola e mirtillo. Come risultato al palato é fruttato e leggermente piccante e si abbina molto bene con grigliate e bistecche, formaggi semistagionati e stagionati e salumi.




The white wine is IoSonoGaia, made of 100% Pecorino grape. The vineyards are at 300 meters above the sea level and even in this case the soil is a mix of limescale and chalk. The grapes are handpicked and than selected and gathering in boxes. The grapes are then soft pressed and cleaned of the static must. The wine ferments at a low temperature, max 15 Celsius, and then it is transferred in barrels for up to 14 months. It makes another 3 months in steel before being bottled. The result is a golden yellow wine with an intense and persistent taste of tropical fruits and spice fragrances. It goes very well with fish and poultry but also with medium soft cheeses.

Il bianco IoSonoGaia é ottenuto da uve Pecorino 100%. Le vigne si trovano a 300 metri sopra il livello del mare ed anche in questo caso il terreno presenta tracce di calcare. L'uva é raccolta a mano, selezionata e raggruppata in casse. L'uva viene quindi sottoposta a spremitura soffice e pulitura del mosto statico. Il vino fermenta a bassa temperatura, max 15 gradi, dopodiché viene trasferita in botti per un massimo di 14 mesi. Ci vogliono altri tre mesi in botti di acciaio prima di procedere con l'imbottigliamento. Il risultato é un vino dal colore giallo paglierino con un intenso e persistente aroma di frutti tropicali e spezie. Si abbina molto bene con il pesce e le carni bianche ma anche con formaggi di media stagionatura.

We are looking for a new CHEF!

Sadly one of our chef is leaving and so Rossodisera is looking for an EXPERIENCED and enthusiastic chef to join our team

Duties and responsibilities

·         Establishes and maintains effective employee relations
·         Informs on a daily basis the manager on all relevant information on operational and personal matters
·         Sees to it that all food items for the restaurant are prepared on time and meet quality and quantity standards
·         Prepares on daily basis food requisitions as assigned
·         Maintaining of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including refrigerators and freezers
·         Performs duties common to position and other duties as maybe assigned
·         Controls cost by minimizing spoilage, waste, proper storage and exercising strict portion control
·         Reports any equipment on the section which needs repair or maintenance
·         Ensures freshness and suitability of products used by the section and that they are stored properly
·         Ensures smooth running of the kitchen during the session

Required Skills & Experience

  •          Good experience as Sous Chef
  •          Good knowledge of both English and Italian
  •          Willing to commit a period of six month minimum
  •          Flexible, reliable and very punctual person
  •     Team player but able to run the kitchen alone of required
